Trevor Muir
Trevor is a teacher, author, international speaker, and project based learning expert. He is the author of The Epic Classroom: How to Boost Engagement, Make Learning Memorable, and Transform Lives, a book about using the power of story to make learning engaging and unforgettable. Trevor is a professor at Grand Valley State University, a former faculty member for the Buck Institute for Education, and is one of the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation educators. His writing has been featured in the Huffington Post, EdWeek, and regularly on WeAreTeachers. He gave a TEDx Talk titled, “School Should Take Place in the Real World,” at TEDxSanAntonio. Trevor’s Facebook page, The Epic Classroom, has inspiring videos that have been viewed over 25 million times. At the heart of Trevor’s work is the conviction that every student has the potential for greatness, and every teacher can be equipped to unlock that potential.
John Collick
Dr John Collick is Head of International Education Strategy for Promethean, a world leader in interactive classroom technology. Dr Collick is a graduate of Sussex University in England. He lectured in English Language and Literature, and Philosophy for ten years in Japan, working in the prestigious literature faculty of Waseda University in Tokyo, where he designed and implemented the department’s first e-learning system. In his role at Promethean, he works closely with Ministries of Education to develop solutions and programmes to meet the needs of 21st Century education systems worldwide. He is an internationally renowned speaker and expert on the educational and social impact of innovative technology. He is the author of several books and articles on literature, media, ICT and learning. His specific interests include, personal learning strategies, neuroscience, technology, and futurology

With over 17,000 students and 28 schools, creating a back-to-school plan for traditional in-classroom learning was no small feat for Napa Valley Unified School District, one of the first California districts to open for in-person instruction this year across all of its TK-12 campuses. Join Assistant Superintendent Rob Mangewala as he shares lessons learned from a year of remote and hybrid learning, and discuss how they’re creating a safe environment that supports academic success and social-emotional well-being for students.

Matt Barfield graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in Elementary Education and worked 9 years in a rural district in NC and has worked in the professional development field across the Carolinas. Matt is an instructional technology integrator, an Apple Distinguished Educator, and a professional development guru for Promethean, Inc.
Angela Ardoin
Angela Ardoin is Head of L&D for NA Sales with ten years of classroom experience, in which she has been a district Model Technology Teacher, an LATAP Preservice Teacher, and Teacher of the Year and state Teacher of the Year for LACUE. For the past 12 years Angela has been assisting districts with effectively integrating innovative technology into the classroom setting and creatively combining STEAM with real world activities via the Promethean Escape Room Experience.
Lindsay Lourcey
Lindsay Lourcey is an education consultant residing in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her degree in elementary education, with a minor in child psychology from Auburn University. Lindsay taught intensive-reading, language arts, and the AVID elective at both the middle school and high school levels for 6 years. While working with Promethean, Lindsay applies her passion for teaching and classroom experiences to help teachers optimize their student’s learning through technology.
Anna Tressler
Anna Tressler is an education consultant residing in Dallas, TX. Prior to joining Promethean in 2019, Anna was a digital learning specialist in Carrollton, Texas. Anna started her career in education as a first grade teacher for Carrollton-Farmer’s Branch ISD, before jumping into an instructional technology role. Anna is originally from Frederick, Maryland and has called Dallas, TX home for eight years.
Leslie Kitz
Leslie Kitz is a Product Marketer with a huge passion for education. Having worked in business development for a start-up school and been a teaching assistant at her son’s elementary school, she just wants to make life easier for teachers. Leslie also came to Promethean with 15+ years of experience in B2B software, so she is empathetic to IT Administrators’ wants and needs.
Melissa Lipka
Melissa is the Head of Regional Professional Development/Field Sales Engineers Central/West Region at Promethean. She is a former teacher of 23 years in grades 3rd through 8th. Melissa earned her Bachelor¹s and Master¹s Degree in Education from the University of Michigan. Her passion for teaching led her to become more involved in technology. She wanted to excite and engage her students in learning using technology. She also wanted to encourage her colleagues to do the same.
Clark Montoya
Clark Montoya is a native of South Georgia and a Veteran of the US Air Force. He studied Music in Oregon followed by a career in the Media in South Georgia. Following his move to the Atlanta Area he managed technical projects for major media companies. He joined Promethean in 2017 and works with our customers and partners providing technical sales engineering, product demonstrations and sales support across the south region.
Emeka Otamiri
Emeka Oramiri started his career as a Mechanical Engineer and transitioned seven years ago to working with schools in the implementation of technological projects. He enjoys being able to support schools in engaging students with technology and is happy to be doing it at Promethean.
Amanda Carlson
Amanda Carlson is an Education Consultant supporting South Florida and the Caribbean for Promethean. Amanda grew up just outside of New York City, and later moved to Virginia where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. She taught high school Biology and Anatomy for seven years in the D.C. area before beginning her career in education technology.
Katie Marx
Katie Marx is a Promethean Education Consultant and resides in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a former middle and high school teacher of 10 years in a suburb just outside of Pittsburgh where she taught with Promethean hardware and software. She loves to share her love of Promethean with other teachers so they can see the benefits in their classrooms.

Katie Marx is a Promethean Education Consultant and resides in Pittsburgh, PA. Sonya Gates
Sonya Gates comes to Promethean following fifteen years as an educator. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with dual Master’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Instructional Technology, Sonya spent her tenure in the classroom teaching primary aged students, teachers, and college students. She began working with Promethean products in 2005 in the public-school environment and is now full-time with Promethean.
Ashley Green
Ashley Green is an Educational Consultant for Promethean in Napa Valley Unified School District in California. She holds both an Educational Specialist Teaching Credential and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Dominican University of California, as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Prior to Promethean, Ashley taught second, fourth and fifth grade for eleven years. With her passion for both education and teaching, Ashley enjoys helping educators use technology to its full potential in their teaching practice.
Lucy Geringer
Lucy Geringer is an Education Consultant at Promethean who has been supporting the Promethean team in New York since 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Emory. She then continued her education by attending Columbia University where she completed her Master of Education degree studying Special Education and General Education with a focus on Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. Lucy was Education Consultant of the year in 2020.
Travis Vanwinkle
Travis Vanwinkle is the West Region Field Sales Engineer. He has been with Promethean for 4 years and currently covers 14 states. Current roles consist of both Pre and Post Sale support to include networking, software, and hardware liaison to Promethean for our partners and customers. Prior to Promethean he worked for the Department of Defense as a Program Manager for Electronic Warfare and Counter IED and Biometrics and Forensics Intelligence.
