Designing learning experiences with everyone in mind
At Promethean, we’re committed to creating learning, teaching, and business tools that work for everyone. In 2022, we began working with Level Access to advance our understanding of how to build better interactive panels and software for all of the users that we serve in K-12 schools, colleges and universities, and the workplace.
Training
Many of our product managers, designers, engineers, and QA teams have taken accessibility training through Level Access. This training has ensured that creating better and more accessible products is core to how we design, build, and test everyday.
WCAG compliance
Promethean is actively working towards achieving compliance with WCAG 2.1, Level A and AA standards. You can view how each of our products conforms to accessibility standards by requesting a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).
Inclusive products
In prioritizing accessibility, we strive to ensure that every user can engage with our products seamlessly, fostering inclusivity. In doing so, we embrace diverse needs, aspire to remove barriers, and empower individuals of all abilities.
Digital Accessibility Statement
Our ongoing accessibility efforts work toward digital accessibility and conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level A and AA criteria and other applicable regulations. These guidelines not only help to make content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
To further our efforts, we work with Level Access to assist us with the administration of our accessibility program, which includes the evaluation of our products on an ongoing basis in accordance with best practices and is
further supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users of assistive technologies.
