Andrea Bocelli Foundation’s Digital Lab Project:
a vocational center for youth implemented with Promethean.
Promethean supports the Andrea Bocelli Foundation in Italy having assisted the charitable organisation’s Digital Lab Project with the donation of two Titanium ActivPanels.
The Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF) aims to empower people and communities, putting education at the heart of its operations. The Digital Lab Project was launched to help drive forward educational innovation in its key programmes, initiatives, and wider training.
When the foundation was gifted the San Firenze building by the City of Florence, it presented the opportunity to create a new Digital Lab setting that would provide a host of services to young adults aged 16 – 25.
As a not-for-profit organisation, ABF’s funds were limited to convert the existing building into an innovative educational space. Proactively seeking out commercial partners who share the foundation’s vision and values, ABF approached Promethean for charitable support with its teaching technology – leading to the donation of two ActivPanels.
