Promethean (LSE:PRW) announced today that ActivExpression student response system and ActivProgress were named by eSchool Media readers as favorite ed-tech products for transforming education in their classrooms and schools. Each was awarded an honorable mention in the 2013-2014 Reader’s Choice Awards, which recognize products that readers use to advance teaching, learning or school administration.
Educators and administrators from K-12 schools, colleges and universities across North America nominated their favorite edtech product or service from February through April 2013; to maintain the integrity of the program, nominations from vendors were not accepted. When submitting nominations, educators were asked to include not just the name of the product or service, but also how it was being used to improve education and to what effect.

Nearly 700 nominations were received, and from these, eSchool Media editors chose 40 winning products and 60 honorable mentions, based on the quality of the nomination.
