Tech&Learning, a leading resource of education technology news, recognizes Promethean’s ClassFlow software as a winner of the 2021 Best Remote & Blended Learning Tools for Primary (K-6) and Secondary (6-12) Grades.
These awards honor products that supported continuous learning as schools transitioned from in-person to remote and blended learning in 2020. Judges determined products as standouts for assisting instructors, students, and their families through the shift to new learning environments. This is the first year of the Best Tools for Remote & Blended Learning awards.
“Promethean is honored to be recognized for our efforts in remote and blended learning,” says Chief Marketing Officer, Cheryl Miller. “I’m proud to serve an organization that has been able to adapt our solutions to accommodate rapid shifts in learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all while keeping the best interest of students, educators, and parents at the forefront of our mission.”
Learners, educators, and parents experienced an abrupt change of classroom environment through 2020 and into 2021. ClassFlow is Promethean’s cloud-based lesson delivery software, reviving student engagement in a hybrid or remote setting. ClassFlow carries on Promethean’s legacy of having the most innovative technologies designed for teachers by teachers and has empowered instructors through recent challenging academic settings.
The cloud-based solution provides teachers with tools to maintain connection and collaboration with students regardless of whether they are at home or in school. ClassFlow’s easy-to-use features enable a convenient, accessible, and integrated remote or hybrid learning experience. With ClassFlow, teachers can create and deliver lessons, polls, activities, and assessments to ensure students are getting a similar interactive experience that they would in person. One year into virtual education, ClassFlow has helped socially distanced students from falling behind, and teachers facilitate the high-quality educational experience they would get in person.
“Despite the many challenges schools have had to face this past year, technology continues to be one of the key drivers for innovation,” says Tech&Learning Group Publisher Christine Weiser. “The winning products recognized here have supported continuous instruction throughout the pandemic, and we expect this momentum to continue into next year and beyond. Congratulations to all of our winners.”
