Teacher Appreciation Summit Scheduled for May 4

To celebrate the 2020 Teacher Appreciation Week, Promethean® will highlight amazing teachers from around the nation who are utilizing classroom technology in innovative and fun ways. Join us on May 4, 2020, as we celebrate the ones who spark imagination, instill hope, and create the love of learning.

The Teacher Appreciation Summit will feature teachers sharing ideas on ways to integrate technology directly into daily instruction, along with fun-filled games and prizes. Session topics to feature how to use technology for STEM lessons, lab simulations, mini-lessons, remote learning, and more.

Mike Hammer, a 7th-grade math teacher at Bayview Middle School in North York, ON, will share how he is leveraging technology to teach his students remotely. With his current process in place, his students have been able to continue their math program without skipping a beat. “It has been so successful that two other classes in our grade are also following my program,” said Hammer.
