A native of Bethel Park, PA, Johnathan Skaris was a high school social studies teacher for 13 years before becoming an Instructional Technology Coordinator for the Darlington County School District. He believes technology should never compete with an educator’s teaching methods, but instead should always complement lesson plans. Johnathan holds a bachelor’s degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Education from Coker College. He is certified to teach secondary-level social studies and is a certified Apple Learning Coach and Google Certified Educator (Level One). Johnathan lives in Hartsville, SC with his wife, Traci, and their two children, Aiden and Reagan.

Dr. Michael A. Jackson serves as the proud principal of Hermitage High School in Henrico County, Virginia. He has 22 years’ experience in education, previously serving as an Art Teacher, Basketball, Football, and Track Coach, Administrative Aide, Assistant/Associate Principal, as well as principal of John Rolfe Middle School for 6 years. Dr. Jackson earned his Bachelors’ from Wingate University, Masters and Doctorate from Virginia Commonwealth University. He believes, “If you treat people as they are, they will remain how they are. But if you treat people as if they ought to be and could be, they will become what they ought to be and could be.” He and his wife of 20 years Kenya, also an educator, have two wonderful children Kamryn (18) and MJ (14).

Michael Lee lives in Canton, GA with his wife, son, and dog. His favorite activity is watching his son play little league. He comes from a long line of Georgia educators including his mother, grandmother, and aunt. Michael has a deep knowledge of Promethean hardware and troubleshooting methodologies and aims to help districts and students get the most out of the technology solutions.

Kristen Spruill is an Education Consultant for Henrico County Public Schools in Henrico, Va. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She later completed her post graduate work at the University of Richmond where she obtained her teaching license. Her work in education spans the K-12 continuum. She has been a teacher, educational coach, Coordinator of Assessment and Remediation and was most recently a Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator. She brings with her a passion for sound instruction and a desire to bring effective technological practices to all students.

Jacob works as the Education Consultant for Promethean with the Loudoun County Public School District in Loudoun County, Virginia. Before working with Promethean, Jacob taught high school science for 6 years and spent another 6 years as a curriculum writer in the educational technology space. As an educational consultant with Promethean, he utilizes his love for making learning fun and his passion for trying to make educators’ lives easier.

Josh is a member of the Educational Technology team in Loudoun County Public Schools. He is the program coordinator for the division’s Instructional Facilitators for Technology team, which consists of 96 instructional technology coaches that serve their school division. He is passionate about building relationships, leveraging technology for deeper learning, and creating an atmosphere of joy in his division and community.

Wacey Tobler is the Secondary Digital Learning Coach and Head Esports Coach at Fort Sam Houston ISD in San Antonio, TX. In addition to his work as an instructional technologist, he also serves as the TCEA Area 20 Director. You can follow him on Twitter @mrtoblerstech.
