Promethean is excited to release ActivInspire 3.0, offering teachers a more robust version of the software they know and love.
Highlights of ActivInspire 3.0 include enhanced performance, updated visuals, and an improved user interface. Replacing the dashboard, a new homepage welcomes teachers to the program as it launches. Changes to graphics include a new desktop icon and loading screen. The Studio version also features an updated colour scheme, aesthetics, iconography, and header.
Significant user-friendly updates to the toolbar allow teachers to stretch, move, and scroll through their personalised list of tools and sort toolbar commands alphabetically to quickly find the tools they use most. Scrolling and scaling improvements have been made to the resource and page browsers for easier navigation between windows while creating lessons and activities.
In flipcharts, teachers can select a resource as the background and apply it to all pages at once, and quickly insert and adjust content with the new cropping tool. The spellcheck feature has been updated in flipcharts as well. To improve the user experience, profile changes will be automatically saved, and pen functionality across all OS systems and panel versions has been optimised.
Instructions for updating to ActivInspire 3.0 will be available in the dashboard when the release drops in May.
