ActivPanel 9 set to drive digital strategy for schools across the Republic of Ireland.
Following the newly announced Department of Education framework for interactive panels, Promethean is proud to confirm that it has been appointed as an authorised manufacturer.
This official appointment means that schools throughout the Republic of Ireland can now access the all-new ActivPanel 9 using the ICT grant, and benefit from the extensive training and local support that Promethean provides.
Promethean’s confirmation as an approved framework partner follows a competitive tendering process. In addition to product quality, the qualification criteria required Promethean to provide evidence of how it can support schools in achieving digital strategy objectives and delivering long-term value from technology investments.
For over 25 years, Promethean has invested in developing training and support that empower schools to embed edtech best practice into curriculum delivery. The company has also long recognised the importance of providing localised resources. These include a local education consultant in the Republic of Ireland, toll-free technical support, as well as ActivInspire software in Irish language.
Samantha Ecock, Promethean Education Consultant – Republic of Ireland, commented: “Promethean has long provided everything that was detailed in the tender criteria. Being recognised as an approved partner is a testament to our longstanding commitment to supporting schools, with this support going way beyond the supply of solutions specifically designed for education.
“Our training programme is well established, our local support is already tailored to the needs of Irish schools, and thousands of curriculum materials have been developed over the years to provide teachers with prepared resources.”
The interactive framework announcement comes soon after Promethean released the ActivPanel 9, which delivers the company’s most seamless, robust, and secure user experience.
