Promethean Grants Amington Heath Primary School an Early Christmas Wish

Published: December 17th, 2015

Thanks to the initiative of a young pupil named Olivia, the staff and students of Amington Heath Primary School in Staffordshire received an early Christmas present in the form of a Promethean ActivPanel Interactive Flat Panel Display.

This Christmas tale began when 8-year-old Olivia contacted Promethean via the ActivPanel demonstration enquiry page. Olivia visited the site and completed the form on her school’s behalf. When the Promethean team followed up on the enquiry and realised what initiative Olivia had shown, they decided to donate and install an ActivPanel to Amington Heath in time for Christmas.

The panel was presented to the school today (17 December) in the presence of ITV News Reporter Keith Wilkinson, who interviewed Olivia and her Headteacher, Mrs Burns. After drawing a ‘Thank You’ message on the screen with a large smiley face, Olivia said that she thought the panel was “amazing…and would be used every single day”.

Needless to say, the school was delighted with its early Christmas present, and the interview was featured on ITV News Central.
