Promethean Finalists in AV News Awards

Promethean is excited to announce that it has been named as finalists in the AV News Awards 2019. After recently being shortlisted in three categories at the Bett Awards, Promethean’s education pedigree has been further endorsed by this latest accolade, which sees the company shortlisted for the Moscow Online Schools Project in the Education Project of the Year category for AV News Awards 2019.

AV News Awards recognise and reward excellence across the audio-visual industry. The Project of the Year (Education) category is searching for a project that displays innovation, sustainability, efficiency and effectiveness.

Promethean’s bespoke IRBIS panel, which was developed specifically for Moscow Online Schools Project, managed to fit the bill for Education Project of the Year, as it demonstrated innovation and the ability to adapt to the requirements of the customer. The IRBIS panel was an all-in-one solution, which incorporated comprehensive education software with an 86-inch interactive flat screen display.

Ian Curtis, Head of EMEA and Asia Pacific Markets, commented: “It is an incredible achievement to be named as finalists in the Education Project of the Year category in the AV News Awards. Promethean responded to the specification of the Moscow Online Schools Project with innovation, and have since delivered over 20,000 panels. We are pleased to be announced as finalists as it recognises the hard work and determination the team have put into the project.”

The AV News Award winners will be announced at the breakfast ceremony at ISE 2019 on the 5th February in the RAI Amsterdam. For further information about the AV News Awards, click here.
