With the finalists now announced for this year’s Education Resources Awards (ERAs), Promethean is celebrating being recognised in the Supplier of the Year (over £10m) category. This latest award success is even more cause for celebration as it’s the third award shortlist so far in 2022, after the ActivPanel made the cut with the InAVation Awards and Promethean was put in the running for Manufacturer of the Year with AV News.
Organised by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), the ERAs highlight the quality and diversity of educational products and resources, excellent educational establishments, and the most dedicated members of the teaching profession and supplier industry.
With sustainability increasingly high on the UK agenda, this year’s nominations required companies to demonstrate how they are developing an awareness of and a responsibility towards sustainability and the environment. Having achieved carbon neutrality for the second consecutive year, and implemented a series of initiatives to reduce carbon footprint, Promethean provided solid evidence of both strategy and milestones achieved.
Asking companies to show how they provide outstanding customer care and exceptional standard of service to education, Promethean responded with a suite of ongoing training and support programmes that deliver value to schools. This core offering is bolstered by wider educational initiatives such as the annual Classroom Stories competition and State of Technology in Education reports.
Finally, the flexible and responsive plan that Promethean put in place to support staff and customers through COVID-19 continues to evolve in line with customer needs. Not least the ActivPanel demonstration programme which gives schools the freedom to choose from virtual, on-site, or face-to-face sessions.
This year’s award-winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony to be held on Friday 6th May 2022 at The National Conference Centre in Birmingham.
