Blackburn, UK – (FINAL – 10th May 2021) – Promethean®, a leading global education technology company, has strengthened operations in UK and Ireland by closely aligning its channel team structure with evolving partner needs. This strategic alignment has seen the promotion of Andrew Stone to Channel Team Manager while Liz Barnes will move into the UKI Distribution Account Manager role.
Effective from April 2021, the recently created positions are designed to bolster Promethean’s ability to deliver reliable and quality support exactly where it’s needed. Over the past five years, Andrew Stone has been a highly valued and effective member of the channel team. In his new role as Channel Team Manager, he’ll draw on this proven experience to ensure continuity of operations and help drive enhancements to service delivery.
As a longstanding member of the Promethean team, Liz Barnes has spent the last five years focusing exclusively on channel operations, making her ideally placed to provide day-to-day support to distributor partners. Liz has been instrumental in the long-term relationship with Tech Data, and more recently, the onboarding success of Midwich. In addition to her responsibilities with the UK’s dual distribution operations, Liz will also support Exertis Ireland.
