Promethean has implemented a recycling program in Ireland that adheres to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) and In fulfilment of our obligations under SI 149 of 2014 and specifically in relation to B2C Household WEEE and the Waste Management Act 1966

Promethean therefore fully subscribes to the environmental objectives of the WEEE directive and all Promethean electronic products are marked with the dustbin symbol to alert customers that its products should not be disposed of with general waste but processed by recycling companies.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and waste batteries must never be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. WEEE is taken back free of charge at electrical retail outlets on a one-for-one like-for-like basis. There is a container for small waste batteries in your local store. Local authority civic amenity facilities also take back WEEE and waste batteries free of charge. WEEE and waste battery recycling is free”

Promethean Ltd participates in a scheme operated by WEEE Ireland, an approved WEEE Compliance Scheme which has been approved by Dublin County Council for the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment. WEEE Ireland accepts waste electrical and electronic equipment at:
