During the 1990’s educators and instructional gurus knew that as the 21st century approached, technology was becoming more accessible to our students in their day-to-day activities. As we entered the 21st century, the generation known as “the millennials” replaced the former generation.

Popularized in the 1950s by an advertising executive, the term brainstorming refers to the process of gathering input from a group of people by encouraging freeform production of ideas, aiming toward quantity over quality, and welcoming unusual and creative responses to a problem or question.

Interactive whiteboards, also known as IWBs or an interactive board for schools, have revolutionized the front of classroom experience by giving teachers and students access to powerful tools aimed to engage and empower users.

Every day in America alone there are between 36 and 56 million meetings per day. According to a study by Bain & Company, organizations spend about 15% of their time in meetings. Time is zero-sum. Time spent in a meeting is time not getting other tasks completed. That’s why wasting time in meetings is such a big deal.
