Education solutions provider strengthens capabilities with appointment of new executive board members

ATLANTA – (June 17, 2014) – Promethean, a leader in education technology solutions, continues to enhance its background in innovation and understanding of the classroom by appointing leading industry software and marketing executives to the company’s board of directors.

Promethean’s newest board members – Judy Verses, president of global enterprise and education at Rosetta Stone Inc., and Jackie Yeaney, executive vice president of strategy and corporate marketing at Red Hat Inc. – help build upon its efforts to develop innovative tools and techniques that help teachers motivate students and ultimately, enhance student achievement.

Judy Verses
Since joining Rosetta Stone, a global leader in language-learning software, in October 2011, Verses has been responsible for institutional business around the world. Prior to Rosetta Stone, Verses was president and chief client officer of Blackboard Inc., where she was in charge of global sales and marketing. She has also held several senior leadership positions at Verizon, launching innovative new products.

Jackie Yeaney
As executive vice president of strategy and marketing of Red Hat, one of the world’s leading providers of open-source enterprise infrastructure software solutions, Yeaney is responsible for strategic planning, brand, corporate marketing and global field marketing. Before her time at Red Hat, Yeaney held several chief marketing officer roles at companies including PGi (a global communications company), EarthLink Inc., and HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation. She was also managing director of consumer marketing at Delta Air Lines.
