Promethean®, a leading global education technology company, has appointed Gene Ng as Regional Vice President in a move to strengthen its operations and drive growth across Asia Pacific.
Mr. Ng will head up Promethean’s regional sales and channel operations, focusing on empowering the teams to deliver against business objectives. Leading the field operations from Singapore, Mr. Ng will ensure that customers are resourced and well-prepared to address today’s increasingly sophisticated active learning requirements.

Bringing over 20 years’ technology and channel sales experience, Mr. Ng has held senior leadership roles with high-profile brands such as CA, IBM, Blue Coat, and Motorola. Prior to joining Promethean, Mr. Ng was Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan at Beyond Trust Corporation.
In addition to his corporate roles, Mr. Ng had been on the Accreditation/Certification Evaluation Panel of the National Infocomm Competency Centre in the education industry. During his tenure as the founder of his own company, he also served on the executive committee of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
Mr. Ng will report directly to Chris Hand, Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for driving market growth throughout APAC and ANZ.
