Keeping students connected with the ActivPanel

One of the best things about the ActivPanel is its ability to keep your students connected – whether they’re in the classroom or at a distance. If you use videoconferencing solutions like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, you’ll be glad to know that you can link them up with your ActivPanel to easily broadcast your lessons.

The benefit of using Zoom or Microsoft Teams is that you can share your voice and on-screen actions simultaneously, and give students the opportunity to ask questions in real time.

The beauty of this method is that you can teach to both present and distant students simultaneously with minimal additional effort.

You can combine this with the ScreenShare app to mirror your students’ screens to the ActivPanel – even if they are learning from home. Simply show them the pin number they need to enter through the ScreenShare app, and you’ll be able to connect up to 39 devices.

Remember – if you want to be able to control the students’ devices from the ActivPanel itself, they’ll need to check the ‘touchback’ box. This is a great option if you’d like to work through an example using a student’s work!
