COVID-19 Communication

For over 20 years, Promethean has been a trusted edtech partner for schools worldwide. Schools are now facing challenging times as the COVID-19 pandemic forces Governments worldwide to take unprecedented measures to keep communities safe.

As such, we wanted to reassure you that Promethean is closely monitoring how the situation is developing and that we will continue to respond promptly to any future changes.

Below provides an overview of the new processes we have already implemented in response to the current situation.

1. At Promethean, our top priority is keeping our employees, customers, and community as safe as possible. To make this happen, Promethean is following the guidance given by the World Health Organization and relevant local government policies and guidelines on keeping our workplace safe.

2. Based on the recommendations, we are embracing a “video-first” company culture – using our videoconferencing capabilities to ensure we remain connected with partners in lieu of in-person meetings.

3. We are strongly encouraging our employees to work from home. For employees who have travelled to Level 3 countries or have been exposed to COVID-19 in any capacity, we encourage them to adhere to the recommended 14-day self-quarantine period.

4. Additionally, we have set up a cross-functional COVID-19 response team. This team has the needed contingency plans to ensure our business continuity under any circumstances.

Nobody knows what the next few weeks and months will bring, but every teacher, parent and student are in our thoughts.
