Promethean, the global education technology solutions provider, has been shortlisted in the ICT Company of the Year (over £3m turnover) category at the 2017 Bett Awards.

Ian Curtis, Head of EMEA and ANZ Markets, said, “it’s a fantastic achievement, as a company we’ve had a strong year which has seen the launch of a new ActivPanel and structural changes internationally that have put us in a stronger position than ever. It feels very rewarding to be recognised for our continued investment in providing the best education technology solutions we can.”

Promethean is most recognised for its ActivPanel, an advanced Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) which acts a powerful hub in today’s modern classrooms. Teachers and students can interact with content, connect mobile devices such as tablets to mirror the content, as well as simultaneously write and draw. The ActivPanel teaching and learning experience can be further enhanced with the use of ClassFlow.

ClassFlow is teacher-designed lesson delivery software, which teachers can access by registering for a free account. It allows teachers to showcase lessons on any interactive display, share digital lesson materials with students, administer quizzes and polls, and assign group learning activities using mobile devices. “ClassFlow continues to go from strength to strength, and our recent move to merge with Promethean Planet offers teachers an expanded variety of resources,” concluded Alistair.

The Bett Award winners will be announced at the award ceremony that is taking place at Tobacco Quay, Wapping Lane in London on 25th January 2017.

Promethean will be showcasing its Modern Classroom solutions at Bett 2017 on stand B98. To learn more about Promethean at Bett please visit www.prometheanworld.com.
