Promethean Opens Flagship Asia Pacific Office in Hong Kong

Global leader in interactive classroom solutions increases investment in Asia Pacific region

Hong Kong, April 2, 2008 – Promethean, a global leader in interactive classroom solutions, today unveiled its new Asia Pacific headquarters located in the Causeway Bay area of Hong Kong. The new office is part of Promethean’s ongoing investment in the region, which started in 2006 with the opening of the flagship Shenzhen manufacturing facility, and continues with even more positions created by the newly opened headquarters in Hong Kong.

More than 20 staff members will be based across the Asia Pacific offices. And, the new office features state-of-the-art training facilities, as well as the latest Promethean solutions. Today’s official launch ceremony brought together ministers, education leaders and heads of business from around the world. Attendees included Jean-Yves Charlier, Chief Executive Officer of Promethean, Mark Reeves, President of Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets and Yolanda Chan, Vice President of the Asia Pacific with guests of honour Mr. Peter Woodhead, ICT Adviser of English Schools Foundation, Stella Zhang, Head of Chinese from the British School of Beijing and HJ Metassim HJ MOHD Yussof, Assistant Director, Ministry of Education, Brunei.
