Promethean first received the award, for excellence and innovation, for Activprimary in 2004, and now again in 2006 for the latest version. The award is determined by an international jury of education experts and is given for the innovative and pedagogical value of the product, which is recognised as having great potential for improving teaching and learning.

“Since 1984, through its awards program, Worlddidac has strived to encourage and recognize innovation in education products around the world.” Says Stephen Jury, CEO at Promethean, “This award reinforces the value of Activprimary as a sound pedagogical product which inspires both children and teachers daily.”

Receiving the award for Promethean, Margaret Allen, Activprimary Business Development Manager says: "I am absolutely bowled over by this second award for Activprimary. We know it’s a real winner because of its pedagogical value as our customers around the world tell us so daily, but to receive this truly international recognition for a second time is a real honour and shows its true value in education.”

The Worlddidac event is in Basel, Switzerland from the 25th to the 27th of October 2006, Promethean will be on stand C40 in the UK Pavilion.
