Software Upgrades
Activstudio and Activprimary Version 3 software (PC and Mac)FREE full version available to download from the internet by existing users of Promethean software. Version 3 is a completely new application, once installed it will run alongside version 2.5.x or below, allowing you to migrate to the new software in your own time.
This will perform an update of the Activstudio or Activprimary Network Administrative image, updating the server package to the latest version included within the patch package.
Windows
- You can now upgrade your Activexpression software to the latest version.
- Promethean flipchart viewers allow you to view and have limited interaction with flipcharts created in Promethean's Activstudio and Activprimary. It is free to download the viewers, but use is subject to your agreement of our terms and conditions of use.
- You can now update your existing Version 3 software and documentation.
- You can now update your Activ software to version 2.5. Before downloading a patch you need to confirm which version of the Activ software you are using.

- Please ensure that you have Px version 3.1.14 or above installed before installing this patch upgrade.
Macintosh
- You can now upgrade your Activexpression software to the latest version.

- This release of Activstudio Professional Edition for Mac is suitable for Panther (10.3.x) and Tiger users (10.4.x).
- This release of Activstudio Professional edition for Mac is suitable for Jaguar (10.2.x), Panther (10.3.x) and Tiger users (10.4.x).
- You can upgrade to this release of Activstudio for Mac OS X if you have previously installed Activstudio for Mac v1.1.1 or later.
- You can upgrade to this version if you have previously installed v1.1.1. This upgrade is for OS 9.2.x only and is specific to European ACTIVboards.
- ACTIVprimary v.2.1 will only update if v2.0 has already been installed.
