Visualisers for Primary Schools

Engaging, interactive, simple to use is the best way to describe the visualiser in the Primary classroom. The powerful digital camera fixed to the swivel arm give the opportunity to take many of your exsisting teaching practices and engage the children in a more exciting way. The flexible arm arrangment offers many benefits over a traditional table top unit with the camera able to look at objects from any angle, both close up and long distance. From sharing resource books, worksheets, children running there own show and tell sessions, layout and modelling of work, still and movie capture with sound, the only limit is your imagination.

Additionally the visualiser compliments the interactive whiteboard with the easy creation of new resources, video and sound capture, and the ability to annotate over the “live” displayed image.

Promethean offer two solutions for the Primary classroom, the popular SVP5300 model and the more sophisticated SDP-850DX model. These are both based on the flexible camera head arrangement with up to 16x optical zoom, A4/A3 capture area, still and video capture (+ audio on the SVP5300 model). Both solutions have SRP of less than £1000

An optional light table (the SLB-5) is available for both models to enable the use of photographic negatives.
