Software Accreditation
How does a teacher know that your software works well on their interactive whiteboard?
You could shout it from the highest peak - or, much easier, you could submit your products for Promethean Accreditation.
Promethean has the market-leading digital interactive whiteboard for the classroom. Our operating software is published in 18 languages, and we have customers throughout the world. We are keen to offer them a wide selection of the best educationally-focused software for their interactive whiteboards.
Software submitted for accreditation is tested against a series of design, technical and educational criteria, to certify that the product works perfectly with a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard, and to assess its level of suitability for group teaching and learning.
Once each product has been tested and approved, you may then use one of the Promethean Accreditation kitemarks on all product literature and packaging. These are instantly recognizable, telling customers that you have a ‘whiteboard-friendly’ product, and distinguish those that work especially well in group-teaching.
The range of publishers that are taking part in the Promethean programme embraces industry specialists across the software spectrum, from small businesses to large multinationals.
Promethean awards three different levels of quality kitemark for compatible software. This will depend upon how closely the software complies with various assessment criteria that are important to teachers.
