Software Integration

Some software really shines when used in a group teaching context. Promethean have worked with a range of popular software vendors to adapt their software to work better on Interactive Whiteboards.

Integration of our handwriting and shape recognition technology makes it possible to sketch symbols and write text directly onto whiteboards and into text entry fields within your software - this elimates the need for a keyboard, allowing users to interact directly with the software at the whiteboard.

A voting API (Currently PC only) allows software vendors to create content that fully integrates voting input to create game-shows and other stimulating activities, maximising a school’s investment in Promethean Activote audience response devices. The voting API can be also be integrated to enhance existing assessment opportunities within your software for Activote users.

Digital assets or content can also be integrated into the Activprimary or Activstudio resource libraries allowing teachers to access resources from within a familiar environment.
