In an emergency, control is everything – as is the need for everyone to have a clear picture of where they need to be and what they need to do.

Which is why command and control centres up and down the country are increasingly turning to interactive display technologies.

The Promethean interactive whiteboard, as seen on The Bill, is used by police, fire and ambulance services for briefings, training requirements and real time visualisation of where resources are deployed. 

Portable display tools have also been used for greater flexibility between sites. The key to the effectiveness of all these solutions is the interactive software which gives the person delivering a briefing the ability to move ‘objects’ around the screen and annotate at will.
