Teaching students has never been so engaging and exciting.  All eyes are to the front when you use our teaching solution for students. You interact with our award winning Activstudio software on our Activboard or Activboard+2, both supplied with Activpens.

All of the resources are designed to inspire and appeal to students. The numerous resources of Activstudio can assist educators with helping their pupils to achieve learning objectives. 

Imagine the possibilities:

• English Literature – use the hide and reveal tools to hide words in a text. Discuss with the pupils which words they feel are hidden and why they would be appropriate.
• Mathematics – special tools, such as graph paper are readily available in the Resource Library. This enables the teacher to prepare examples and tasks using graphs before a lesson.
• Geography – Full-colour maps can be displayed quickly and easily. Zoom in for a more detailed view. Links to sound and video clips can be added which can add atmosphere to any description and help to make pictures and maps more memorable.
• Science – Drawing diagrams is made easier and clearer through the bank of ready-made annotations and photographs.
• History - Images from the past in full colour can easily be displayed on your interactive whiteboard.  Jump between different pages in your lesson to look in more detail at aspects of a topic and visit the internet live during your lesson to see historical websites.
• MFL – play an audio recording of a French text through the interactive whiteboard while displaying the text on the interactive whiteboard to give pupils reading and listening practice simultaneously.

One of the most exciting elements of our Activstudio teaching solution for teachers and pupils is the attention grabbing and time saving resource library that helps teachers to create dynamic lessons across the National Curriculum.  Activstudio can also be used with our student response system, Activote.

Deliberately simple to use (so that the technology doesn’t interfere with the Teaching and Learning), Activote allows the answers of each student to be saved for retrieval later -  individually or as a class.
