Activboards and Numeracy

Work with our expert trainers to learn how to make numeracy more fun, more creative and more engaging for both you and your class. Both Activstudio and Activprimary contain a wide range of features to help improve students’ numeracy skills. This course will help you explore the possibilities on offer.

• Primary teachers and subject co-ordinators who already use Activprimary and/or Activstudio.
• Teachers considering Level 2 accreditation.

• Using maths specific tools – the ruler, protractor, compass, calculator etc.
• Using and adapting grids and graphing features.
• Creative ways of using the dice tool.
• Numeracy presentation techniques.
• Rotation and transformation tools.
• Creating, organising and sharing your own resources with colleagues.
• Using the software alongside interactive teaching programs and other resources.
• Using the flipchart recorder to improve numeracy.
• Customising toolboxes and resource areas to enhance your teaching.

Location

• School-based (typically half-day, full-day or in-class support).
