Chief Strategy Officer - Brent Taggart

 Brent joined Promethean in 2007 as Head of Group Strategy and Promethean Planet, where he is responsible for defining the company’s long term strategy, as well as leading the growth of Promethean Planet, the world’s largest IWB community portal.

Brent spent 8 years at Equant (Orange Business Services), joining in 1996 to lead the company’s strategy function. He developed Equant’s pre-IPO strategy framework and storyline and managed the three-year plan process that grew the company from $300m to over 1.3 billion.

Brent has also held various executive positions in Europe, including Director Finance & Systems at Unisource Business Networks BV in the Netherlands, Principal Associate at Coopers & Lybrand Management Consultants in London and Senior Director of Strategy at C&W.

Brent holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from Pomona College. He is also a qualified Prince2 Practitioner.
