ActivEngage is a software-based Learner Response System ideal for use in schools that have invested in 1:1 laptop initiatives, computer labs and mobile handheld devices. ActivEngage maximizes current technology investments and eliminates the need for additional hardware by enabling students to respond to questions with existing laptops, desktop computers or mobile handheld devices.
Using Promethean’s award-winning software ActivInspire or Promethean ActivOffice, display a question on the interactive display or ask it verbally, and students will respond using the virtual device on their computers or handheld devices. Assign full quizzes of varying difficulty with ActivEngage’s Self-Paced Learning functionality to encourage students to work at their own pace and comprehension level. Installation
ActivEngage requires the use of ActivInspire Personal/Professional Edition or Promethean ActivOffice to register clients and conduct response sessions. Importing ExamView® and XML files as well as exporting questions and answers to Excel™ requires ActivInspire Professional Edition or Promethean ActivOffice. User with administrator/privileged access rights required for software installation.
